October slowly creeps in,
Bringing thoughts of Candy and Costumes,
Trickery and Trouble,
While Tucking in Innocent Trees
Turning Bright Beautiful Leaves in to Shades of Red and Brown
He makes Summer Smiles turn to Frowns
October skips around
Spreading cold air making people sick
He waits for his special Halloween day
Then swiftly drifts away
